Autoguard Group Asia-Pacific (APAC) and the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO) have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), paving the way for Autoguard to serve as the association's preferred EV warranty provider.
This appointment was cemented through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held at the PERIKLINDO Electric Vehicle Conference (PEVC) 2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre.
The strategic partnership reaffirms Autoguard’s commitment to the Asia-Pacific region. By aligning with Indonesia's largest EV association, Autoguard Group APAC is positioned as the leading aftersales partner of choice for OEMs, vehicle importers, and the broader automotive ecosystem seeking advanced extended warranty solutions. More importantly, the MoU highlights the company’s distinct capability to support and scale alongside the region's rapidly growing EV market.
Autoguard Group APAC, with its regional headquarters based in Kuala Lumpur, aims to serve the broader Asia-Pacific market, which remains a key focal point for its global expansion. In opening its first dedicated APAC office earlier this year, the company remains focused on driving service excellence for end-users while unlocking new revenue streams for dealer networks.
As the regional transition toward electrification accelerates, Autoguard continues to identify and capitalise on opportunities to deliver exceptional value to the automotive aftersales market.
Highlighting the significance of the partnership, Jamie Francis Morais, Business Development Director, Autoguard Group APAC, stated, "This MoU is a demonstration of our commitment to this thriving region. Collaborating with an industry pillar like PERIKLINDO to develop dedicated EV warranty solutions validates our ongoing mission to establish Autoguard as the trusted aftersales partner of choice. Backed by our recent technological investments in streamlined claims processing along with our expertise, our commitment to enhancing opportunities through our global warranty solutions, and our relentless focus on end-user service excellence, we are well-equipped to add exceptional value to the automotive aftersales market as the EV transition accelerates.
Driving the Future of Clean Mobility at PEVC 2026
The MoU signing was a centrepiece of PEVC 2026, Indonesia’s leading electric vehicle industry conference organised by PERIKLINDO in collaboration with Gemalindo. Relocating to Jakarta to accommodate a growing network of strategic partners, the event hosted 500 key representatives, including policymakers, corporate leaders, venture capitalists, and international delegates from China, Taiwan, South Korea, and other prominent markets.
Designed as an international strategic forum, PEVC 2026 aims to shape the future of green mobility, strengthen Indonesia's role in the global EV supply chain, and drive electrified economic development. Under the theme “The Future of a Clean and Efficient Mobility,” the conference showcased the latest EV technologies, providing powerful momentum for business partnerships (B2B networking) across the value chain.
